I'm going crazy: Halls of the Dead MAJOR PROB?!!

So far, no problems, but with my barbarian, for the third game I have created with him now (realms, 1.11), I am unable to get the Cube, because ALL Halls of the Dead maps I spawn HAVE NO ENTRANCE TO THE THIRD layer.

In the first game, I found a WP to Halls of the Dead Level 2. Great. I cleared the entire level, but no way down further.

So I started another. In that next game, I WPed in to level 2; in this level, which I cleared with no problems, there was NEITHER a way up NOR a way down.

Frightened, I tried a third time. Ditto.

Help!?!? What is going on? Does anyone know what I can do? I dont think I can play this character without a cube, never able to go past Act 2 Normal...

That's just odd, never heard that happening before. Is this Bnet or SP? Either way try closing out of DII, rebooting your PC then reloading DII and trying again. Might just be some weird glitch in your current DII instance.

halls 2 down doors are at path ends that are not rooms

some map seeds are missing wps, doors and quest locations ect
getting 2 in a row missing the same thing is extremely rare
on bnet the " -seed xxx" command doenst work

Restarted the game. Works now, got the cube.

A little tip: you can get a cube from the High Counsil in Act 3 as well, if you don't have one at that point. Just thought I'd point that out.

(Thanks -- I havent made it to A3 yet, almost there -- but dont you need to the cube to make the staff which lets you get to Act3?? I mean how will you get to A3 without the staff, which requires the cube?)

If you play in parties someone else can make the staff.
