How to connect to play

really new here, how do i play here?

we dont play here, this is a forum for the game

the class forums are full of info about different builds

the trade forums are for battle.net realms (much better than the un-moderated bnet forums)

the sp forums are people that play legit sp and like to duel and trade

You should be able to play by doing this:

1/ Connect to the internet.
2/ Start Diablo 2.
3/ When the menu comes up hit the Battle.net button.
4/ Choose a username.

It's as simple as that.

gwennglenn: Playing doesn't require accessing Battle.net as TrapperC described. You can also play offline by simply starting Diablo II and making a character. There is a whole sub community here that does just that. Check out the Single Player Forum section, that's where said individuals interact.
