My CD key is being used by me?

ugh, i cant log onto b.net, it says that my cd key is being used by "my name" and that only one user can be on that at one time, so.....am i bein hacked as we speak right now? or is soemthing else goin on?

Edit: and ummm....on east i keep getting "connection has been disrupted"

Check your taskmanager. D2 may be running in the background without showing it. Restarting comp or remove it from the processing list (ctrl-alt-del in Windows).

It has happened to me before. I just wait a bit and it tends to fix itself. Being hacked would not cause the message, as more than one person can be logged on to the same account at the same time. Now, if someone happened to use your CD-Key to install their game, that might cause the message to come up. However, I think it's more that you got a connection interrupted or something similar, and D2 thinks you're still in the game.

look for game.exe or diabloii.exe and end them

yup

if its caused by ci, it will clear up in around 5 minutes (bnet server thinks your logged in)
if its caused by d2 crashing youll need to end diabloii.exe, game.exe or restart (part of d2 crashed leaving you logged in)

well i tried to Crtl Alt Del, but there wasnt ne diablo things running, i restarted my comp and everything works fine, thnx guys, man i was really worried cuz i just made a mul that wasnt permed yet, that wouldve been scary.

mules have nearly 2 weeks to get permed, so it's not such a big deal if you make one and don't perm it for a day or two
