+3 Warcries weapons

hi. so I have finaly decided to build myself a barb. Since this will be a char intended for party support i want to have high BO. two +3 Warcries weapons on switch will be a nice boost for my BO. My question is, to which vendors should i go to shop (and how much gold will they take for a pair? im low on gold :tongue: )? Or is it better to just hope a pair will drop from some random mob?

I have to thank you. While I was on checking vendors to decide what I'd suggest, I found a 3 Warcries Throwing Spear from Malah (which I need for a barb I'm making). :thumbsup:

That said, I'd say either set up a Cow portal by Hell Charsi, or a uber portal near Hell Larzuk. I'm assuming your barb will have higher str than dex, so you're going to want to look for a couple of swords. If you are going to have higher dex than str, set up a portal by Malah and shop her. I say Hell Diff because I'm not sure if +3 can spawn in NM, and you can't set up an uber portal in NM anyway. Another added bonus to hell is that you can shop a better range of items (so don't look JUST at the items you're trying to shop).

If you're going to be high dex then go for throwing spears from Malah, I tend to have better luck getting warcry weps from her.

If you don't want to set up an uber portal, and you can no longer make cows, then I'd say just keep creating a game until the WP is close to Charsi, or run Larzuk.

EDIT: I also randomly decided to kill N before I left the game, and wound up getting a D key. So, thank you again. :P

I normally get echoing throwing spears from Anya because you can reset her inventory by jumping into and out of the Pindleskin portal.

You can shop them anywhere but in normal mode. It will need perhaps a L65-70 character to produce them in a shopping inventory. Statistically interested people can search the statistics forum for details about affix level calculation.

Malah is a good choice if you baalrun a lot in public games, bo knives are best IMO, only 2 boxes of space each :smiley:
