People trying to sell stuff and advertise

Anytime I am in a game which is not full, about 1 person per 4 minutes will enter the game, announce that some website has great deals ("*lewt*" is one name I remember), and then leave, all obviously done with some script.

God that annoys me.

I often squelch people (I just cant stand people who type "tp" or "pp" 39 times per minute), but these people I cant squelch, or rather doing so would require just as much attention as trying to ignore them.

Is there anything that can be done about this?
Are these robots, or actually humans logged in?
Is it frowned upon by blizzard, so that the users can be reported?
Is it just something I have to put up with?

Those would be the bots that online stores use to drum up customers. If you look at the level of those characters they should be very low, just set your game to have a level restriction and that should eliminate most, if not all, of the bots.

Make the level requirements on the game within 2 levels of your character, that will stop all of them. (example: you are level 55, set character difference to 53)
