I recently came across two important pieces of information.

1. The fire mastery from trang ouls will increase all fire skills (like fire golem for example).

2. Magefist give +1 to all fire skills, which gave me +1 to corpse explosion.

+3 fire mastery gives 44 % damage. Corpse explosion gives 60 - 100 % of monster HP as damage and half as fire.

This means that the damage would be 30-50 % physical and ~43-72 % fire damage. Add amplify damage or lower resist to the equation...

But anyway, am I correct in my assumption that trangs will give a boost to the CE damage?

Yes, I believe that the fire damage in CE is counted as a fire skill and thus influenced.

if thats true, you can also raise the fire mastery with +skills which would be kickass.

Fire mastery works with all fire skills- CE is one of them, so it does indeed increase CE damage. This is partially why summoners are sweet. Use skeles to get a couple kills, Amp/LR, CE, clear screen.

It can also be boosted by +skills gear, but seeing as trangs takes several key slots, you won't get many other than a torch/anni/wep.
