Alright so it has been a few years since I played diablo. my LOD disk has become scratched and it isnt installing. I have my keys, is there anyway to get an installation off of the internet or anything?

Well as mentioned in several other posts, it's possible to only need the CD to log onto Bnet. The rest of the game will be loaded of the harddisk. There's a thread in the stickies where every possible legit solution regarding this is comprehended. Let me fetch it for you just in case.

edit: there (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=462145) you go. You'll probably gonna need it, since your CD won't get any better over time.

then if you lose it or it breaks you can still play

But if you get any errors with the copy, Blizzard won't do a thing. And what's better, if you disc is already owned, you cannot even know whether the problems are with the copy or the game, thus you are forced to get a new one.

Using a virtual drive is cool, but sometimes Windows might go creepy with other cd-requiring games and think of the virtual drive as the primary one and complain that you don't have the gaming disc in the drive. Happened to me once. Don't even know how the hell I had a virtual drive, never made one.

if you use nero or another good cd burning program, it will tell you if it encounters errors while copying or making the iso

i have iso images of the cd's to use if i break or lose the origonals, and play using a burned cd

I have all 4 of the discs backed up on one DVD as images. Works wonderfully. I also have a file with my keys in it, very easy.
