View Full Version : Class-specific items: Amazon

I'ves searched the Arreat Summit, this site, and google, and am confused. I am in the beginning of Act2 now with a couple of chars, and have found dozens and dozens of class-specific items, such as

- orbs for sorcs
- jawbone helms for barbs
- wolf heads for druids
- preserved heads for necros
- wrist blades for assassins
- targes for paladins

All of these items have a red "[Class] Only" tag.

I have NEVER found a single item which said "Amazon Only".
That cant be weird luck, can it?

Am I missing something, or do Amazons not have class-specific items?

Amazons have bows, spears and javelins, i managed to find them on arreat summit. Looky (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/elite/amazonweapons.shtml). :wink3:

Edit: You also have the unique Amazon weapons, like Lycanders aim and Titans revenge for example.

Yes, I saw the Unique Items, but not the ones I have found for the other classes in heaps and piles. I have never found anything class specific for them, just those huge unique scary ones

its all luck, and keep your eyes open for bows/javs/spears
npcs can sometimes sell them too

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I believe the lowest Amazon specific items have higher TCs than the other characters specific items. So you might only start finding them late Act 1 or early Act 2. The others have TC3 class specific items so you can find them from any monster in any act.

Again, not 100% sure on this. :smiley:

Ah I see, that's odd but understandable. Is "TC" sometihng like Level Requirement?

The spears and javelins from NPCs are for any class. The only class-specific items which you can buy from them are assassin claws.

TC is treasure class and it determines what monster drops what. Items of different rarity are of different TCs.

ok then, i was in a bnet game when someone sold it to npc then i bought it back
