Questions on the summoner/poison build

Hi, I got some questions and would like some help

1. I will have trang ouls set for this char which will allow me to walk instead of run. Should I go for max block then? On the paper it looks to me like my skeletons should be able to meat shield me so I could go for vitae. This will be a moderatly twinked char so I will only have 56 in str and base energy.

2. Is hell doable with this build (with full trang ouls) without deaths web, facets or other uber items (did manage to get a torch though!)

3. Since I will do the standard 20 RS / 1 SM, should I go for a defiance or might merc? I would prefere the might merc but will my skeletons get slaughtered without defience in hell or will they manage?

I have a summon/poison hybrid, lvl 86. He does just fine in Hell, with his only problem being gloams (or whatever you call them in hell). There are quite a few more poison immunes in hell then people generally think and the trangs helps with this with its fire skills.

Your skellies work as a great meatshield and you will seldom need blocking. Go for vita.

My skellies (lvl 20 something ish) do die but do not crumble too easily. Because you are not using CE, you have plenty of bodies to revive more.

I use a cold merc (don't really know why, just haven't bothered to trade him out, kind of attached i guess). A might merc is prob your best choice.

I do have a deaths web, but you can find a blockbogs cheap (not great, but not too bad either). Who knows, maybe you'll find a web along the way:thumbsup:

Welcome Newcomer to The Darkness. Grab a brew (http://www.holland-at-home.nl/images/bier.jpg) and feel free to raise some corpses.

Do keep in mind that with Trang-Oul's Wing you'll need a Dex of 240 at level 90. That is a pretty hefty investment.

Yes, blackbogs is still a good chioce. Its cheap, gives very good +s to poison skills and has a few other mods (slow and I can't remember others :tongue: ), so why not.

Others can chime in on better weapons, but for the price, hard to beat.
