Stone Crusher - Worthy of a Zealot?

Hey people...

I recently decided to start a Zealot (with 1 point in Smite)...

1-I've also been considering a Zealot with a lot of Crushing Blow, I would suppose that would be viable? (Basically CB + actual Zeal damage)

2-Is the unique Lengendary Mallet Stone Crusher (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/elite/umaces.shtml) worthy of a zealot at all? I noticed the speed is painfully slow, but if I socket it with a shael, and max Fanaticism, would it be worthwhile at all? Mine has a pretty high ed%, so it's in mthe 200-250 range, with a whooping 40% CB. (I'm too poor to get Grief, really.)

Legendary Mallet is far too slow to be viable with a zealot. With lvl 20 fana and zeal you need 114% ias to reach 4fpa zeal and that sacrifices too much gear.

Hand of Blessed light is a better zealot weapon than stone crusher as well as lots of other weapons because of their ability to reach 4fpa

Stone crusher isn't that bad. It's easy to reach 5 fpa zeal (4 fpa is abit hard to get) and it has nice dmg & CB. But, yes, there are many better weapons.

The STR req and speed of the Stone Crusher pretty much makes it a bad weapon in my opinion for a zealot. You'll have nothing left for awesome blocking and if you do, it means your VIT is in the tank.

Besides, crushing blow basically wins out over your huge damage approach from a slow one hander. You'd be better off just focusing on getting really high crushing blow, with a really really fast weapon. You'll crack things faster with that, than you with a slow big damage weapon.

Shael'd Crushflange + Guillame's Face + One other source of crushingblow & some IAS with Fant will probably kill things faster than the stone crusher will in hell, with virtually no STR req beyond that of the Helm....

Just a thought.

I have a Heaven's Light actually, with only one socket. I may Shael it, or something. I have Guillaume, and Gore, so yes, I'll make a CB Zealot.
