Is spririt ward a good 1 pt zealadin shield or is my higher str requirement not worth the extra pts to get there.

No. You should use spirit in pally only elite shield with high Resist all.

Im sorry i think i might have listed the name of my build wrong i am a 1pt smiter. Its my cookie cutter build but its such a blast to play.

:soapbox: Chien is correct, it's nearly worthless. It gives 11-35 smite dmg, that's horrible. It doesn't have any +attributes or +skills. ANY pali shield will give more smite dmg.

Also, this is NOT a pali shield... it WILL slow you down and drain your stamina, unlike all pali shields.

It's not a good choice. Make a simple crappy any pali shield with res spirit and it will be vastly superior, until you can make an elite spirit or exile.

That is ok. But, still, you should take advantage of RWs in elite pally shield. Much less strength req and more smite damage.

Im currently using a Ancients Pledge 76ish resist to all and great resist shield but. Im only level 65 so the smite has not become a major problem yet. I just had a Spirit Ward drop yesterday and didnt know if it would be worth the extra strength. I need to find a nice HoZ but have not had any luck yet.


For raw damage output what would I need to look for on a good Pali Shield.
High Resists is always a must. On Shield but im NL and just starting out with my brother so still getting gear saved up for some nice trades.
