I have currently built a hammerdin and have the following gear.

Helm: Um'd Shako
Amulet: Mara's
Weapon: Heart of the Oak
Shield: Spirit
Armor: Enigma
Belt: Arachnid Mesh
Boots: War Travelers
Gloves: Magefists
Rings: 2x SoJ


Was wondering if there are improvements that I can make.

Swap out a soj for a 10%fcr ring so you hit the 125%fcr breakpoint, or a wizzy for the hoto. Assuming you have a 35%fcr spirit.

HoZs are to come by and my Spirit has 35% fcr.

10 FCR ring seconded. 125 FCR breakpoint = more damage and faster tele.
Trust me, you won't miss that SOJ one bit.

@Retardet: Spirit allows you to more easily hit the 125 FCR break point. Faster casting = more damage per frame. Hoz is good, it does boost your damage more than Spirit, but the best FCR you can get reasonably with a HOZ setup is slightly over the 75FCR breakpoint. Even with the higher damage from the HOZ most setups will result in less damage per frame.

For just MFing, HOZ is fine. For Pvp the 125 FCR breakpoint is pretty much a necessity for an Hdin, so Spirit is a requirement.

Actually it wasn't an in your face type thread. I was looking for just the advice given: such as removing an soj. I have great items but improper equipment will stunt your characters effectiveness.

I was actually worried about my boots more than anything.

Add some Pcomb charms/anni/torch to have more damage.

I didn't mean anything harsh by it, just seemed to come off that way in my eyes. I really don't think you need to do anything with your gear. If you want to change your boots, get silks for the frw and mana boost.

I use the same gear...except

I have one soj and one FCR (as noted earlier)
I use treks for boots. Str and vita. - eth would be nice. I agree that silks would also be very good.
I have gone with Trang's gloves for the psn reduction.
I use a 160ish% Hoz. I have always wondered what was better...the HoZ with lesser FCR (80%) but more damage of the Spirit with less damage but more hits...
