If there was a green orb around him he was a mauler, otherwise he was a FC.

Maybe the ele druid had TERRIBLE dmg and the bear had max DR...or was juving..
10 nados...alot of physical dmg to tank..
bears can get something like 16k health afaik with good enough gear and 2 stashes worth of prebuff. Pretty sure someone's demonstrated it via screenies or math at some point.

16k life ? i doubt it phool.
life naked approx 1250 at 99
40*20 life scs = 740
4x pruby jeweler's ancient of whale = 252
3x pruby jeweler's diadem of whale = 224
80 life 40 strength rings
100 life amulet
100 life belt(/60 life 30 strength)
65 life waterwalks
40 life bloodfists
4x jah eth jeweler's monarch of the mammoth = 240 life
no idea on weapon so a 6 fal crystal sword to make the vita a bit more realistic
total = 3090
lvl 55 sage = +300%
53 lycan werebear = 325%
lvl 56 BO = +200%
total = 28.5k
Can't be bothered to work out totally optimum set up comparing jahs to prubies and BOable life vs non BOable, where to get the strength from torch/anni or fal sword, etc. 28.5k was more than I was expecting, please check it by all means.

and no "bear druid" would ever have that gear in a PvP let alone be viable in one.
+vit from items doesnt get multiplied.
So again, I doubt it phool.
I didn't use +vit, or +life per level, or any other sources of non BOable life to my knowledge. What I did include is clearly written in my previous post.
I didn't claim it was realistic in pvp. 13-5k probably is, with a loader, though.
I did claim 16k life was possible, which you 'doubt'. Just show me where I erred in my calculations, to the tune of 18k life...

I said 16k life for a PvP bear is NOT possible. Neither is 13-15k. The best wolves have 12k+. Maulers and FC Druids in bear form cant even break 10k unless you wanted to sacrifice alot of damage and survivability and almost all viability.
so if you wanted to sacrifice all pvp/pvm playability and just wanted to be a sitting tank-duck, yeah you can get rediculous amounts of life on a werebear, but this is not what this thread is about.
Remember, we're talking about a PvP char so all those little fancy numbers you just posted means absolutey nothing as you would just be suicide in any PvP game.
you say you never claimed this is possible for PvP then why does your first post so clearly give that indication ? Hence my response of I doubt it, which still stands.

Nice catch, but no, you didn't mention PvP. You doubted 16k life was possible. And now appear to have entered into some bizarre epeen thing showing you were actually right?

I'll take this strawman as confirmation they're correct.

lol, 'clearly', nice. When I want to say 'maximum possible life for a pvp bear without sacrificing effectiveness' I'll say it. When I want to say how much life I think a bear can get, I'll say that. Said that, even. Requiring '2 stashes' worth of prebuff' makes it obvious I'm talking about a realistic setup:rolleyes:
You realize this is a thread about a PvP char, not "what char can get the most life, but cant survive in PvP or PvM."
Oh my bad, and I thought it was a thread about a bear taking a lot of damage:rolleyes:
Quotestacking FTL:thumbsdown: I'm out. Amusingly we don't even disagree...

i didnt have to mention PvP. If you read the first post the guy was asking about a bear druid he saw in a PvP game. It was implied already. It was the subject of this thread.
You made comments saying such a bear could reach 16k life, which me or anyone else reading up until your first post in this thread would of thought the same thing. aka "this guy claims a pvp bear can get 16k life ? thats not possible" hence my response.
You try to make a come back saying its possible, but take no notion of the fact we're talking about a viable PvP werebear here. Not a char made just to have a huge amount of life, but is not viable in the PvP or PvM worlds.
It's clear now you never met to say a PvP bear can get that much life, but you clearly mislead (by accident obviously) me into thinking such by your choice of words.
Just out of curiosity Superjayson. How much life does your Werebear have? Mine has 9.5k life, so I don't really see how 10k life is impossible unless you have no damage/survivability. With some better gear I'm pretty sure that my bear can get more than 10k.

right now im at 9k, but i still have some twinking to go.
is that bear an fc druid ?
With lvl 49 oak on East, I once got one of the best Barbs using Beast up to 15k... I thought that was pretty extreme ^.^
