Firstly, you understand that my runes where hell forged rushed and then popped in v1.11. If your hoping to make a beta CtA with them, they will not work for that. I guess I should have made that clearer. My bad. Problem as I found when rushing the runes for CtA beta is that hell forge quest in v1.09 is nerfed so the runes that I made for CtA beta where rushed in v1.09 as normal but then the mules where then popped in beta. The drop rate in beta appears to be the same a v1.11
I would consider doing another run, is it your intention to make a beta CtA from this? Seems likely given your offering pretty much rune value straight trade.

I hadn't considered the possibility of doing another v1.09 hell forge rush set -> beta runes for CtA. Personally I am not really interested in the rune word for myself as I only play PvM and CtA (even a beta) isn't that much use to a well set up PvM character. Other rune words are of more use to me such as Exile, Death, Grief and even the thought of a Famine in a ogre maul for my two handed avenger. So both of your offers are of interest in that regard. I'm going to have to consider. Plus, you both should know that the time I need for the runs was about 5 weeks last time.

Well we could still trade. But you would have to understand that the beta runes will take me 5 weeks or so to produce. I only have the capacity to do the runs due to my two computer home lan set up and some v1.09 retired characters I retired due to the new sysnergy skills being introduced not favouring them, for example my orb/hydra/TS level 96 soser and level 90 zealot who was my original schaeferdin.
I also retired my entire set collection from v1.09 and re collected them all in v1.10 due to the later version's additional set completion bonus so it was very easy to equip my soser in full tals set, and zealer in grissy set.
Anybody could do these runs themselves, but getting the characters/items to do it with would be the problem.

Ilvl 94 or more? I have a lot of 90 & 93's. All the ilvl 94+ Gc's are already "cubed" Is there something about that level or more that makes them more cubable? Must get around to trying to cube charms one day. Gotten fed up trying jewels, might be time to teach this old dog a new trick.

Ilvl 94 or more? I have a lot of 90 & 93's. All the ilvl 94+ Gc's are already "cubed" Is there something about that level or more that makes them more cubable? Must get around to trying to cube charms one day. Gotten fed up trying jewels, might be time to teach this old dog a new trick.

hmmm, I thought it was level94+ for a higher 'of Vita' suffix, but according to both Arreat Summit and Kronos'/Corax's Charms Guide, it's 91+. So, I guess those ones with level93 would do nicely. I'd rather have the GC's than PGems, so 2-3 ilvl93 GC's then?

I can't think of any other useful rune words that would suit a phase blade except for VoR. The VoR is for my elemental zealot weapon switch. It'll only be a 8/5 zeal and I want to try it to see how it goes for an OK killer. Low physical damage, CTC forb and conviction should work ok. If it does, Ill probably want a 4os sceptre next for Rift. It was annoying that I wanted to make the VoR with a high end runes of Ko & Lem, and of all my socketed phase blades, 19 in all, none of them are 4os. 2, 3, 5 & 6. How annoying is that?

I'm in a bit of a bind now as I only have one Pul rune left. Would you go an extra burning skiller for Um + Pul + Ambergris jewel of fervor? Otherwise Um + Pul is fine for those two skillers.

Um + Pul sounds good. The ambergis of ias is just a semi-need atm, and I think I'll hold on to some fireskillers for the future... but the two above for um pul sounds good. FYI, OK's have 180 cold resist in Hell, so Conviction & LR won't do a thing - that CtC FrozenOrb will be useless in this instance.

Either way, I still want to see the weapon in action and see how it compares to my azurewrath or other weapons for killing speed. A bit of a cheap experiement to see if it is worth going to the better ctc forb weapon, rift.

The socket is a straight up 40% ed jewel. No prizes for guessing my two handed avengers name btw. The weapon was dropped by Baal as a war club but quickly upgraded and holed.
This is his primary weapon though I have tried him as a immortal king variant as well as with an ethereal glorious axe Oath that was loaned to me. That axe produced insane damage, something like 9.1 - 20 kay, somewhat more than the 8.6 - 12 kay of the carrion brand, but I prefer the big mace as I like the theme better and it still does enough damage for 1-2 hit kills on high players x settings. If you are wanting to make a two handed avenger, then it is really hard to go past an Oath axe or a death axe/sword.

Factors such as DS & CB work from physical damage so is still relevant even for an avenger as vengeance is based from the phsyical damage and then added to it. It does not double the elemental damage as chance to calc DS is done after vengeance damage is calculated. DS obviously doubles the physical damage which isn't that much in the case of a avenger, though a two handed avenger with might merc, the DS would still be significant.

Yes, the IAS on Oath is very hard to pass up for an avenger. You are far better off plugging all your items full of min/max damage jewels instead of damage/IAS. CS only needs 90% IAS for a 9 frame attack so you only need gloves and highlords for the break point leaving you free to fill your items with more damage.
So when you compare death to oath, oath will probably come out in front thanks to needing less IAS off weapon, more options for more damage.

A Oath highland blade needs a mere 15% ias more for 12 frames. It is hard to pass up.

Cool, thanks for the tips. I thought the eDeath CS might be too slow, the GS on it would be nice without any blocking, but I'd be quite the sloth out on the battlefield.
