FC druid questions

Never built a FC druid, wanna make one for pvp.

Questions..

#1.Gear for pvp, mainly building to duel JUST FC druids or Enchant mellee sorcs.
#2.Stacking mass FR w/o any absorb considered bm ?
#3.CB & OW's is this usefull or a waste ?
#4.5/5 facets or UM runes ?

Basically was looking to stack 300ish Fire resist from gear/inventory...
86 fhr bp in wolf w/e is equal w/ Bear
Not sure how ow/cb work w/ fc druids..was going to build w/o any.

Lost, dont have time to spend making a fc over and over untill I figure out what works the best...

Half the guides stickied are outdated or are too basic...looking for some good advice from veteran druids who still actually play the chars they're commenting on. Thanks for nothing i'm sure you could of added some input.

it depends on who you duel, but in a general sense over stacking res is considered BM by most. You want to stack over 300 so that may be a problem. If you just want to duel fc druids/enchant sorc's in pubs then forget what I just said.

If you're just going to duel these 2 builds the massive FR is not needed. FC Druids dont generally have alot of -res gear to begin with. I'm not sure about enchant sorc's though, infact im not even sure how many of those you're going to run into.. I never have.

OW's is really useful. I find CB marginally useful. It's been nerfed considerably in recent patches so trying to load up on CB would be a waste.

Figured the mass FR, since almost all of fc/enchant dmg is fire based. Didnt think dr was needed much at all if any.

Also building just vs fc druids/chant mellee b/c most mellee duels I watch everyone is so anal about everything that I figured fc vs fury or conc etc etc would be considered BM.

Not sure about 5/5 or um I guess i'll go w/ 5/5's even though they're damn expensive..since resist isnt much of a issue.

yeah its all fire based, but remember stacked res only comes into affect when your facing an opponent with alot of -res gear on.

FC Druids generally have -20 maybe -40 on their gear. So the 300 stacked res will be pointless. Again im not sure about enchant sorc's as I've never seen one in my many games in pubs.

i feel your frustration about the anal-ness of people when it comes to whats BM. I've had one dude completely blast on me cause he considered using ravens in a duel as bad as using life tap, stacked res and massive absorb. It's just rediculous sometimes.

I think you're going to have a harder time finding fc druids/enchant sorc's to duel. we got a few (along with myself) roaming east, but i think your better off expanding your ideal opponents.

i said your pick cause it depends on your gear. For me I chose 5/5 in my helm and shield and thats cause I can still get max res with out putting um's there. The situation may be different for you.

thanks dude. id suggest using that belt you got. once i crafted mine it became my main belt for almost all duels.

oh ps for fc druids throw out the stormshield and use a sanctuary in a hyperion shield ;)

Ya I had a hyperion sanc 68 pris, no clue where it went might of expired I do have a 70pris sanc think its a dragon shield or something. I was planning on using...

id use the mara's over metalgrid.
the extra AR from metalgrid isnt all that significant.
