soj selling

Oke last night I sold a soj to a merchant
and I got a gold messages saying: 6012 stones of jordan sold to merchants

I browsed trough the internet and all I could find is that it helps getting diablo clone in the game or something like that

but I thought classic diden't had diablo clone or am I wrong ?
and If I'm right why do I get the messages ?

I play europe hardcore btw (dunno if it matters)

classic does have dclone but he doesn't drop an anni.

I have killed DClone a number of times on classic in the past two patches, on ladder, as well as non-ladder.

as mentioned he doesn't drop (anything) - there has been some debate as to whether he gives xp to the one that kills him, regardless it would seem that he does not give xp to party members that participate in the kill.

he also is fairly difficult for most classic players to take down due to a pretty healthy amount of elemental resistance, as well as very high rep. (if you play xpac more often, then this is probably not news)

Never liked xpac so diden't play it alot and thx for the awnser do you guys mind explaining how it works to get him in my game ?

no, if you get that message, you want to go to the NEAREST Superunique monster to you (eg. Rakanishu, Coldcrow, etc...)

D-Clone was set up by Blizzard to help get rid of duped SOJ's on the realms. And I believe, the Anni in expac was started to get people to buy expac. Your one SOJ won't do a lot to help him spawn and was probably a waste. There are people decaited to spawning him or finding the sever that he will spawn on.

Here's one thread on it, use the search function and type "D-Clone". There are others. Though some of the threads are for expac, if you are on the same server in a Classic game in Hell, he may spawn if enough SOJ's are sold. Good luck.

aint gonna sell sojs to make him appear lol
just sold it by accident and diden't know what the messages means
but thx for the help guys

the sad thing is that people dupe sojs in order to summon diablo clone, so your legit soj was wasted :/
