MY First Huricane druid

ok..so right now im making my first huricane druid ..i have some gears:

Dusk nigma
spirit shield 34%
hoto 38 res
arachn
2X sojs
9x ele gcs//torch//anni

but i figured that i couldn't afford a good Pelt :S...

what helm should i get that is good and cheap ..jalas or shako ??

You trade 3 to Nado for more res, more FHR, more mana, more strength. I'd take utility over pure skills anyday.

The only advantage Jalals gives me is more fhr but i play with maxblock there fhr is not that important in my opinion (again:talking bout pvm not smiters^^)

You go max block in PvM? O_o

And I err on the side of caution. With crap res one bad barrage that eats through CA will throw you into FHR and inevitably kill you.

Also, blocking 75% of the time does not negate the need for FHR. If you get swarmed by Frenzytaurs, FHR will be what gets you out alive more than block.

*shrugs* But I don't know your entire setup so talking about it won't do any good. Generally Jalal will beat a 5 nado pelt though.

i have about 60fire//cold resi and 30lightning.
Is that crap resist?

Also most i do is CS and TC85 so i wont meat frenzy taurs (dont like em^^)

I like maxblock...i play mostly every character with shield with maxblock, sorcs includet^^
So im safe against physic attacks (i could think that 35damred isnt that bad against frenzy taurs as well^^) as well as against elemental attacks.

Storm gives my Cold and lightning resist, my plt some against fire.
Combined with Aldur boots im fine in CS with high cold and fire resist (max fire^^)

Thats like u say sacrificing skills for safety with my pelt, i think taking nonblock kinda the same*g*


For a build with Spirit ur right there Jalals is really better:)

Fair enough. If you'll only doing 85 areas Jalals isn't needed. I was thinking Baal Runs where you meet Fanact Frenzytaurs and Conviction Multishot Gloam packs.

May I know how you wear SS with zero pts into strength? Socket it with -15% req jewel?

No.
lets calc it without rings, i got a ring with strength cuz my any doesnt have perfect stats^^ (my torch has)
20torch+20anni+20base+70enigma=130
Therefore i could wer the Stormshield even without perfect anni.

U need 126str then u wear it with strenght bug (30str tiara helps a lot with it).

U can also wear 2xfc ring with 15str each and dont need the str bug.


imo best socketing option is SHAEL in Stormshield for faster blockrate

Hurricane druid? Like the skill 'hurricane'? or is it a other word for winddruid?

If hurricane i can imagine these items would be sweet:

Some low req. Doom runeword
4sox monarch 4cold facets
Nightwings with cold facet
Infinity merc
