hey everyone..i decided to go with a pure fire druid and now, even though i have all the fire skills(except for armagedon) maxed out, its not packing enough punch... now my druid is lvl 76 and im sorda stuck at a crossroad..
i dont know whether i should:

A. max out armagedon aswell since it would do a hefty amount of damage with the synergies.

B. max out heart of wolverine and get the extra dmg from that..

this is my first druid and im not seeing any alternatives as to how i should get him to do more dmg..please help :undecided:

im thinking, what if i put one point in werewolf or werebear and then max out fireclaws...i mean fireclaws would be fully syngergised and maxed out, wouldnt that make for awesome damage? or is it stupid to alter my char into a shape shifter hybrid this late

Not doing enough damage?

I have a pure fire build about the same level and almost fully synergized (minus Armageddon) he really puts it down nicely. Well, except for the Fire Immunes that is.

What kind of +skills are you getting from gear?
You should be aiming for about +10 to skills (the more the better).

For that matter. . .what gear are you wearing? It could potentially make a big impact on your damage.

All elemental builds (regardless of character class) should focus on getting as many +skill points as they can safely carry. That's where the damage comes from. At this point in the game. . .forget trying to get melee damage up. You're pretty much locked into Fire. I have Firestorm on the left click and Fissure on the right. Works like a champ. Volcano the Bosses and other stationary targets. You won't be swinging your weapon. That's what you have a merc and a Bear for.

As for my gear- it's by no means exotic, but it's cheap and works well. . .Magefists (+1 fire), Hexfire sword (+3 to fire), Skin of the Viper Magi (+1 skills + Resists), a +2 skiller set of antlers, and a +3 elemental ammy. There are other pieces, too, but I can't remember all of them right now.

This build with this gear is in Hell level right now and doing just fine. I will upgrade my equipment as needed, but as of right now it's not really an issue.

I agree with WrongdayJ; with so many points in all synergies your Fissure and Volcano should do a lot of damage. Maybe you're used to Sorcs; they are a lot faster.

You should easily get good bonuses from equipment:
+3 Ravenlore
+3 weapon (HOTO, Hexfire, or any club with +3 elemental)
+2 Spirit
+2 Maras or Rising Sun
+1 Magefist
+3 cheap Druid Torch
That's 16 skill bonuses without problem.

As for the rest of the points, your best choices are:
- Oak Sage
- Grizzly (either pump Grizzly for damage or Dire Wolves for life)
- Armageddon (more synergy, even though you need to invest in 4 prereqs)

ahh thanks alot, currently all my skills are at 25, the gears i use all together give me +5..
atm i use full aldurs, occasionally i switch my helm with jalals..anyhow, all of my fireskills are maxed except for armageddon, and i mean fully maxed, im at act 2 on hell and i can pretty much handle it by myself but as soon as we are more then 2-3 people in the game effeciency reeeally drops.. but thanks for the advice and im gonna keep an eye out for equips that add to my fireskill.
