Flame/Summoner idea

I found this sword a while ago on a Chaos run.
I haven't played a druid before, but thought it would lend itself really well to either a Flame/Summoner or Fire Claw build.
Any thoughts?

naw, it doesn't really have much of a use. It takes up a spot for shield, too much strength, and far too slow for melee. Not even useful for prebuffing, 'cause you can use that one-hand sword that gives +3 fire skills (hexfire?), if anything, WITH a spirit monarch for +5 skillz to prebuff instead.

But, if you still want to make a Fire/Summoner, a Huntermentalist would be my build of choice.

and for future reference bro, the most important stat that makes or break an item's useful-ness is the weapon IAS.

Good to know.
In any event, I am really enjoying this character so far.
I have only put points in pre-reqs so I am still in good shape to make a decision.
I think I will go with a fc build and see what happens.
