Hi kids,

I've got a Fury wolf that's almost finished leveling and ready for duels. This is a vs.-all dueler so max res and max DR are primary goals along with mass FRW.

My gear is:
Jalal's (Um)
Grief PB (average roll but 100% legit and mine)
Fortitude Scarab Husk (not the best armor, but legit and mine)
Stormshield
Bloodfists
15% Dungoes
Gores
Highlords
Raven
res/life rare ring, or 'sorb ring if needed, or BK

My question is, are there duels for which I should go two-handed? I've got a non-eth 3OS TombReaver, and a rather swish rare mancatcher (356 ED, eth self-repair, 40% base IAS which I'll shael).

The mancatcher will hit a 6 frame Fury and have range 5. The TombReaver will hit 5 frame Fury with range 4. The mancatcher looks to have significantly more damage though.

Is there any merit to using a shael/shael/Nef TombReaver?

I play legit so finding ed/ias jewels is basically out of the question for the TombReaver, as is using an eth TombReaver or making a eBOTD GPA. I don't use duped runes so getting hold of a zod is just a ridiculous proposition. So, please don't comment if your comment is going to be "use eth TombReaver" or "use BOTD". Not gonna happen.

It seems like a hammerdin duel is a for-sure two-handed proposition. Are there any other duels for which I should go two-handed? I'd think maybe smiters but my lack of DR without Stormshield worries me. Or should I go two-handed with a shaftstop? Again I don't use duped runes so dropping Bers all over my gear for more DR isn't something I can do.

Thanks,
PPR

Shael/Shael/Lo Reaver hits 6/4 Fury.

Situations to use 2 handers:

Sorcs
Hammerdins
Trappers
Windys
FoH (if you can stack without a shield)
