Deciding on general pub build.

Coming back to play Diablo after I quit 2-3 years ago, right after I just quit my WoW addiction. -Sigh- It never ends.

Debating the current builds:
Pure Fury.
Fury Rabies.
Flaming Rabies.
Pure Rabies.

I'll have all the gear needed for any of the builds above. Jalal, Cerebus, Enigma, Fort, Bramble, DW + 20/20 Monarch for Rabies Switch, etc.

I remember I made a Flaming Rabies Druid back then, but I remade him as Fury Rabies. Not sure why, and this was with the Carrion bug. Then I liked Fury so much I made a Zealot and left the Druid to collect dust. =[

Mainly going to be pubbing, any suggestions? At the moment, I'm leaning for Flaming Rabies right now since I only see pure Fury and Fury Rabies Druids.

My favorite is my pure Fury druid. I know many who do a Fury/Rabies combo though. Look at all the guides and see which appeals more to you. I know there will be some druid vets that stop by that can be of much more help.

Pretty much read everything I found through search. I just can't make up my mind. I prefer being less common, so that's why I'm digging Flaming Rabies right now. I'm a stam buff too, so that's why I'd like Pure Fury.

Really just depends. Rabies helps a ton versus casters and Smiters. Pure Fury has insane AR though.

One mistake I made with my prior builds was I based the build around Engima and Carrion Ring, so I had no room to play with for armor choices. Same problem I had on my Zealot.

Vera, any reason you chose more FC damage over Rabies damage for your build?

Actually, I went higher Rabies and less FC. Queen did more FC less Rabies. My Rabies is 45k with 9k FC. He did 11k FC with 38k Rabies.

The Rabies output is simply a matter of preference. I prefer it towards the higher end to deal with Smiter and Sorcs while using a lower FC damage to supplement. Some prefer to rape with FC and let Rabies weaken the opponent for the killing strike.

Would FC do enough damage if I specced Poison Creeper and went Bramble? And what armor do you use?

I use a mix of Enigma, CoH, and Bramble. I have ~15 hard points into creeper. Personally, my FC damage is on the low side as is. You'd lose a good 1k damage if you maxed Creeper.

~4.5 k with mediocre gear. Ink's hit 7k before though O_o
