fastest way to level up?

I normally play LoD where there are many 8 player Baal runs and leveling is quick. What's the fastest way to level in Classic, from lvl 1 to 80ish? I'm assuming it's slower than Baal runs, since Act 5 monsters give the most xp in the game.

(hell) diawalks from 25-60s, csruns from maybe 70s or 80s-9x. I like to ench my way from 1-25 in full games but you can hell cs from 1-20 as well. Norm cows are best for 20-25. As an alternative, Nightmare flayers are also good for the 30s to late 40s and hell flayers good up to 70s. Some overlap with nightmare and hell cows as well there but I prefer flayers personally.

The golden ticket place for high levels is the Chaos Sanctuary. Sence im insane, i lvl up there at lvl 65 +.

if you don't have the resources to get to hell A4, Nightmare cows can help, and Nightmare CS as well. If you have a good chant, you can squirm around NM cows too :thumbsup:

25-35 nightmare cows are pretty decent

flayer council runs are decent at higher levels in a full game for a ww barb that doesn't feel like doing endless cs runs, or doesn't have the resist gear + leap to do efficiently in it.

I got a barb to level 80 or so last ladder before he ever set foot in a cs, it obviously was not quite as quick as if I had just slapped a triple p diamond shield and some fr from say nozokan, or spurs, but I did find some useful drops during that time as well. *Shrug*

let someone rush you to act 4 or nightmare.

get one friend with HIGH lvl enchant. Now, take Raven Claw bow (pretty common, shoots explosive arrows). Let him enchant you, enchant spell will last MANY minutes. Go shoot in stone fields or so untill you reach lvl 11-13. Then go shoot in act 2, sewers or arcane. After lvl 15-16, do the same shooting in tombs, near Duriel, you know. After lvl do the same in cow games. Repeat in NM. You should be lvl 40 in 1-1,5 hrs. Then go playing CS runs in Nm oR if rushed, in Hell. You should be lvl 5x-6x in few hrs and be able to do normaln + NM + some hell alone.

it's not true better exp is in CS on LoD too but on exp in cs u must have good party (baba,sorc,paly,java etc) with kickass stuff :thumbsup: ... fast cs 60-120sec gives u more exp than baalruns but baalruns is easy, very easy and people exp only this runs on LoD and u have no problem with collect party too play... only best/rares players making CS on LoD mostly on HC...

Diablo gives better exp than Baal on level 90+ - check this :thumbsup:

on classic best exp is ofc on CS but flayer and cows is good too to level ~80 IMO

If you have access to a enching friend, I would wait with trying to put on the Ravenclaw until you are at least level 15, since that is the level requirement of the bow. Before that you can just use a bow you buy in the shops, any damage, cheapest you can find, the enchant will give you enough ar to hit and enough damage to kill any monster in the whole of normal, save the fire immune stormcaster sealboss in CS.

I'm making a hammerdin. Right now I'm at lvl 26. I'm playing untwinked since he's my 1st classic character. I have a few friends with classic characters but they are only casual players (like me). The reason y I made him was so I could play with my friends who didn't have the xpac.

Anyway, I'll try to get a rush to at least nightmare A4. I'll probably also make a lvl 1 classic character to browse normal games. My character may not survive in nightmare though; he has terrible resists. I may need to do a bit of lo lvl MFing before I go to nightmare.
