Hey, I have no idea if this is the right forum or not, but I some q's answered with crafting... well just one.

I'm trying to craft fcr amulets which uses the recipe ral/junk jewel/pamne/magic ammy. In order to get the highest lvl magic amulet, can I just gamble for them? I have a level 93 Paladin I can gamble with. If not, what is the best place to mf for a bunch? Also, what's the best level to craft with if it matters?

A level 93 character is excellent for gambling, then crafting amulets with that character. The lowest item level he can get from gambling is 88. If this character then crafts such an amulet, it will get an item level of 88/2 + 93/2 (rounded down) = 44 + 46 = 90. That just enough for the +2 class skills affixes.

So I think this character is your best bet. Most players like +skills, so it would be a shame to miss out on that, now that you have the character.

In general, crafting should mostly be done so that the resulting item level becomes at least 71, because that will guarantee 4 random affixes.

Awesome, so I'll craft gambled ammys. I'm shooting for a 15fcr ammy for a max block necro :)

If you use a gambled amulet that has +2 to calss skills, then you know itīs at least ilvl 90. In that case, crafting with a level 90 character is enough.

You can, but it's not a guaranteed chance. The ilvl of gambled items is randomly set between clvl -5 and clvl +4. So with a clvl 90 character, gambled amulets will have an ilvl of between 85 and 94. If the ilvl of the resulting amulet is 90 or higher (50% chance), then a craft with the clvl 90 character will be able to get +2 skills. If the ilvl is less than 90 (50% chance) then the resulting craft will not be able to get +2 to skills.
