View Full Version : Odd weapon from Imbue

Hey guys

I found a low req Maiden Jav with +3 (white) skills and used it on Imbue in normal. The Jav changed to have +4 skills instead suddenly. Did I just get a stacked mod or something that gave me the bonus +1? Seems odd to me because I didn't think it was possible to get +4 on a single skill branch listed on an item like this. Maybe it's possible to get higher then with stacked mods?

Would appreciate any info on if this is not supposed to happen, or if this is normal for mod stacking.

Dont know about the +jav skills. But imbuing things rerolls all the previous stats, so it was just luck that you got +4 on it. Didnt have anything to do with the previous +3. Just thought i would share.

The whatevermods on the javelin ranges from +(1-3) javelinskills, you just rolled an extra javelin skill on it, harpoonists prefix. Thats the way it could be.

Can go up to +6. "Natural" staffmods that occur on white items like +3 Javelin skills are additive with magical skills; IIRC item manipulation rerolls both.

Any combination of +natural/+magic could have been the case. So 1/3, 2/2, or 3/1.

Rares cannot get more than +2 to skilltrees from automods and the +skilltab bonus from affixes cannot be higher than +2 as well, so rare javelins/bows/spears can have up to +4 while it's up to +6 for magical ones.

Nice Jav's!!!!

You got a pretty descent roll on those.

They are definately keepers.

If you are making a Poison Javazon- those would be almost godly.

+4 to skills and knockback. Like my Grandma used to say. . .
