I read "3) the list of unique items already generated in current game (only one unique item of its kind can spawn in the same game)"

Does that mean if I am wearing a unique (say a Unique Shako H.crest) then I cannot find one while I am MFing?

No, you can find one since the Shako you are wearing was found (spawned) in a previous game.

No, it means that if you have found one in the current game, you will not find another one until you save & exit and start a new game.

"Find" is the wrong word for it though. The game might have spawned one that you missed, but that still counts.

Thanks for the replies, that makes sense.

Essentially he cant drop 2 H.crest in the same drop, or I couldnt get one off of Meph AND Baal in the same game, etc.

Not two of the same unique (one will drop as a failed unique in that case), but you can get multiples of the same set item (Isenhart's Case being the main culprit, at least for me).

speaking of which, has anybody been lucky enough to see 2x IKSC in a same drop? is it even possible?

i dont know what iksc but ill assume its ik armor and since its a set item, yes 2 can drop from the same boss, possibly even 3 or 4.

after finding finding set breastplates twice per game every other game you start to really hate it.

Note the 1 unique drop per game doesn't seem to apply to every unique. I'd say it's 99% of them that do follow the rule, but the unique at index 44 appears to be capable of dropping an unlimited number of times (in the unmodified version of the game, this is the Dragon Chang, but any unique put in this position will react the same). I don't know if any other indexes are "special" but there might only 1 or 2 others. All of the other indexes I've tested do not react this way so far.

There was a rumor that it can happen with uniques, but I have first-hand experience that it doesn't. A few weeks ago I found Crainte Vomir and a rare espanodon with triple durability (which indicates that it's a failed unique) at hell Meph.

It can happen with set items. I have 1-2 dozens of screenshots with dual set drops and I'm still waiting for a triple - or a complete set from a single drop :laugh:
