View Full Version : How do I "up" an armor?

I can't find an FAQ for "upping" an armor to give it more defense (in this case Duriel's Shell). Can anyone tell me how or point me in the right direction for that info?

You'll a list of Horadric Cube recipes here:

The formula that you were looking for is:
1 Ko Rune + 1 Lem Rune + 1 Perfect Diamond + Exceptional Unique Armor = Elite Version of Armor

This will upgrade your Duriel's Shell Cuirass to a Duriel's Shell Great Hauberk.

Check this page for the upgrade recipes (as well as many other recipes).

Note that upgrading only changes the base item of the armor/weapon. It does not turn it into the unique version of that item. Also, some recipes only work on Ladder/Single Player.
