# of sockets question

I found a 30 faster r/w diadem, if I should choose to socket it, it would get 3 sockets correct?

I found it in the Throne Room, which IIRC is mlvl 85.

if its blue it has a 50% chance of gettin 1 or 2 sockets. the only way it could get 3 is if it spawned with the artisan's prefix
