How does a person on useast talk to someone on uswest, and does it matter if the person is sc/l or what?

it cant be done with d2, crosstalk between realms can be done with starcraft and some other games

you can talk to all others on the same realm (sc, hc, l, and nl)

You can't talk to someone on StarCraft if you are on EAST and they are on WEST, not on Battle.net.
