wich weapons and armors are ideal for 'upgrading' on ladder?

(1 Lum Rune + 1 Pul Rune + 1 Perfect Emerald + Exceptional Unique Weapon = Elite Version of Weapon
1 Ko Rune + 1 Lem Rune + 1 Perfect Diamond + Exceptional Unique Armor = Elite Version of Armor)

There are lots that can be upgraded. The ones that cross my mind right now:
- Ribcracker
- Bloodfist
- Goldwrap (for MF, so you have 4 sockets)
- Witchwild String (more damage but higher requirements)

for ex, is it any good idea to upgrade a shaft (mesh--> bonewave)?

Yes it is, but I wouldn't do that unless it has 220ed (perfect).
If the upgrade turns out to be perfect, you have a diamond in your hands, so to speak.

On the other hand, mind that the strength and level requirements will go up; a normal shaft is about 95/40 but an upped one is 158/70 (not sure about level). I guess it's best to keep one normal and one upped.
