First and foremost Hello Amazon community! long time lurker, first time poster(im sure you've never heard that one!)

On to my questions:

It's been quite a while since ive played but i decided to come back and play recently when a few friends wanted to try d2 for the first time ever, with that said we will be leveling without rushing and i was just wondering firstly what are some good twink items to try and get for a javazon while leveling and secondly could i get some info on some good javazon builds and items to shoot for once we've reached higher level, any links or info would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a bit surprised, as long time lurker, I would have expected that you found the stickies by now. Look there for the end game guides. They will serve you good enough at this point.

Are you going to twink or not, trading or just what you found. If you want to trade, there are some good items that come cheap. I you won't trade, and mf isn't your thing, just go with what you find. Then your build should make the difference not the items. Try finding a good combo. Lower res from paladim or necromancer will help you big time. No items needed no more.

If you want to trade, or plan on finding them yourself. Try getting these perhaps:
gloves with ias and skill. I found some of diablo the other day.
As armour, and certainly if you one point in valk. Peace come to mind. Cheap as hell, +2skill, cth valk, and even +2 more in critical. Taking advantage form the points that are important.
Get a helm with tir's, or even armour with tir's and rings with +mana per kill. This will let you go with much less mana potions. As shield you could try to get one of those fcr unique sheilds. These have +mana per kill and sometimes even skills. They lack block though.
belt should be razortails, with few points in pierce, you will get max pierce. This is very good for every build.
some boots with frw are always nice. Getting good res is rare and expensive and frw is just so usefull.
javalins should have skill, and be fast with large packs. If they have replenish quantity and +mana after each skill, they are a keeper for long time.

P.S. ofcourse, near to full sigons will do the trick aswell, though geting all the items for a javazon is hard. I think a mele bluid will make better use of those items.

[edit]
armour, vipermagi is the best, no doubt. That and max block will let you tank diablo's lightning hose, get you good res and skills. What more to want.
As helm, if you don't need or want +mana after each skill, get peasants crown. unique exceptional hat. That leather thing. Shako in small, skill some life and mana IIRC. Nice though mana issues are just a pain in the *** big time.

thanks for the item suggestions, ive got a full sigons set a razortail, a peasants crown and a vipermagi ive also got a titans stashed, i just couldnt remember if there were any other good low level stuff that i could use to make our leveling easier if you can think of anything else that be cool :P

also about dodge, avoid and evade, ive read mixed reviews about them being useful due to stopping your character from moving while performing the animation, any thoughts on this? i was thinking of doing one in all the passives minus those 3 then maxing the lightning related skills in the jav tree for synergy

no d/e/a = no valk. so you will not have points in 3 passives. Valk isn't needed, cretainly not if you play with a decent party that offers enough decent tanks.
A bowazon with valk, druid with grizly or necromancer can heve the needed untwinked valks. So it comes down again, do you need more tanks. You already have have a few mercs and some mele char, perhaps some summons that can tank. If you don't need one, then skip those and max synergies. On the other hand, a good valk can tank where no untwinked mele char will survive. It comes down to preferences and what you want to do with this char. Mostly, d/e/a only is a problem with flayers, if you don't run wsk, then it isn't that much of a problem. And if you know that you will encounter them, say behind then other chars and let them take the hits.

Playing in a party is notting like playing with a random party or single. Don't just take all the advises you read here without thinking about them. Some count, other aren't that important if you have assebled a good party.
i.e. immunes are not a problem, so you don't need a second attack or bow on switch. Just sit back and watch the other kill them, this is, if they aren't lightning aswell. Now you see that that would be rather not smart.

well i dont know if this matters or not but one of my friends is a trapsin and the other is a pally who's undecided on their spec so with that in mind so i just go full jav skills for synergy?

assuming that we still talk about pure lightning and not hyrbide, the trap assasis might be lightning too - and nottings says the paladin won't fall for holy shock -, something not that great.

You should be covered on the tank thing. None of the tanks can match valkery, though the master (warrior) of the assasin can draw some damage of you, and she can use mind blast (?) for the conversion and cloak of shadows to prevent some nasty monster skill and for distraction uses.
The paladin can tank somethings too, though in hell this will be hard. If he takes on the right aurea and skills, he may be of great advantage. Either getting the 'defense' of the tanks up, or on the other hand, improving you damage enough too kill fast.
On the other hand, they are first players and a lot of skills seem nice on paper. If they go the wrong way, you won't get past hell.

I would start with one point valk, and see what happens. and get a six sock fast bow full of Psaphires for huge freeze. One point in freezing arrow and it is possible.

valk is good, d/a/e basically bad (for pvm). Your call.

maek items such as silkweave, valkyrie's wing, lidless/eyeless are great for twinking mid levels. Ench+khalim's will->raven(->kuko) are ideal for twinking low levels.
