Disabled prespective in Demo

I decided to try out Diablo II demo before actually getting the whole game, what i found out was that Prespective was disabled in the demo both in DirectDraw 2D and 3D. Why thats happening?

My short answer, may not be correct but, because it is a demo.

with the full ver perspective only works in d3d mode, not in 2d, make sure you run D2VidTst.exe from the d2 folder and select d3d
it should work but might give much lower preformance

that is, unless your computer is fast to begin with. my old laptop i played d2 on was so old it didn't have a 3d option at all lol.
