Unless you go dual spirits and no block, don't bother trying for 142 FHR.

And unless you prebuff like mad/ power-level for ES points, you don't have enough resistances. People say that res doesn't matter for ES sorcs but that only applies, IMO, if your ES absorb is 90%+. Most fire sorcs have around 70-75% and with that level you need full res IMO.

im full block, and i think getting 142 isn't that hard, with shael viper,2x shael circlet the rest can be gotton from boots charms. i never tried 142 so i dont know if its worth it or not

i like 142fhr on my no-block vit fb sorc. it's almost impossible to get fhr locked.

for a max-block build, have you considered a Guardian Angel or a Twitchthrow for your armour? built right, i rekon you could have a max-block 105%fcr setup and a no-block 200fcr setup.

i will lose 30fcr if i use twitched, im using eld whistands currently 68% block, str is at bare minimal for frostburn so 200fcr is out.

im thinking double shael circlet, shael viper, spirit sword, and fhr charms to hit 142, worth it? final stats will be something like ,15-16k dmg 80% es 4k mana 75% block 1k+life

short answer: yes i think 142%fhr is worth getting.

slightly longer answer: mind you, i swing dual spirits so it doesn't take much more to get there and i have tons of resis into the bargain. shael'in everything could give you a nasty hit on res & life.

have you a point in Chilling Armour? (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=541218) or a CA/Memory? or are you going to use a snowclash?
