My char is early in the game and I've spare skill pts to distrubite, and should finally decide how to build on.

Is there any reason, except splash damage, that I should use DTail instead of Dclaw?

What is the key difference between these two ? I'd need pros & cons.

DTail provides knockback as well. You might not want it, you might want it. I'd say 1 point in all the finishers is never a bad idea.

For an TS build DTail is the usual finisher and in this case DTail must be maxed as well. For other charge-up builds I'd advice to keep your finishing moves just at one point.

They have different uses, though Dragon Tail is the most popular.

Dragon Tail: Best used along with Tiger Strike for massive splash damage. Keep in mind that you will need a nice pair of boots, most people would say either upped Gore Riders or Shadowdancers are the best options.

Dragon Claw: Can be used as a finishing move for a build which uses Fists of Fire, Blades of Ice, Claws of Lightning (Orwhatever that lightning martial arts skill is named) and/or Phoenix Strike. Can also be used as a stand-alone attack to deliever effects such as Venom, Crushing Blow and Open Wounds.

what if my venom 'aura' is on & use other element (fire, lightning..) - do I deliver all elemental type damage or one overrides the others ?? if so, which one?

All skills stack. They don't override each other.
