I'm having a hard time getting attack power.

Like, unless I'm using angelics my rating is like 3k at best, with 2x 20 dex ravens.

My other gear is as follows:
Arreats
Nigma
SS
Some unique 1h POS sword
Gores
Metalgrid ammy
Gravepalm gloves
Vert's belt.

How should I go about getting my AR up? I have max axe mastery, but I've yet to find a beastZ or griefZ for trade. Once I get axes, will it help my AR a lot?

Thanks.

Heya,

Well, what attack are you using and yea, your AR will go up some with an Axe due to mastery since you're currently using a sword.

Get some steel charms, larges and grands that give ~100 AR. A few of those will your attack skill should put you well above whatever you need to hit things.

Cheers,

Why the italics on the sword? :O

I was hoping to put most of my GC's to skills, but I suppose I can go with attk power.

I just can't seem to hit these smite pallys worth a crap.

With maxed axe mastery, my AR using an axe with dual ravens and no enchant is around 11k. Without a sword, it drops to around 6k. So it's a significant bonus.

you have to realize that pally's have 20k plus def and almost always 75% block, character level also plays a big difference. at best expect to hit about 23% of the time. angelics is a nice way to get ar if your ammy spot has no real role yet (I dont think metal grid can compare to the 12ar/lvl angelics gives just so your know)

Enchant from Demon Limb will give you about 8k attack rating.
Angelic ring ammy and raven frost is a popular combo, decent attack rating, and "cannot be frozen" (cbf) from ravenfrost. Definetly using the weapon class in which you have maxed the mastery will help alot also. Not sure what your price range is, but life charms are better than skiller gcs, in my opinion, and if you can get some attack rating bonus and max damage on it, more the merrier. If you cant afford nice axes, and haven't spent points in axe mastery yet, swords will be okay.... better something than nothing, although axes are better. Best of luck with your barby.

Dont ever use skillers on barbs unless prebuffing, and I assume ur using ww as ur main attack? Might wanna ditch those gloves for some bloodfists/dracs, as the FHR/life/OW/str will benefit u more.

Yeah trying to.

Well I traded for a GriefZ tonight, yay!!!

374 damage.

My AR went up a ton, with 2x angelics I'm at about 14k /w 2x Ravens I'm at about 6 or 7.

I use metal against sorc's.

Although I'm noticing I have a lot lower vit than other barbs. I'm at 381 vit. :O @ level 83.

What are your dex and str? And is that base?

Also, highlords > metal for sorcs and almost all casters in general. I'd defiantly change that metal for a highlords if i were you.

Alright, i'm having a hard time getting resistances, most of my resistances are around 50ish with metal on.
