Well i made my first sorc and dunno what shield to use :embarassed:
Heres what i have atm ;
Lidless socketed with pdiamond.
Stormshield socketed with pdiamond.
Spirit Shield.
Btw my sorc is firesorc with talrashas :undecided:

If your sorc is a max block character stormshield is what I would pick. If you're going non-block and have a spirit shield then +2 to skills, faster cast rate and lots of resistances make spirit the clear choice.

dont leave out a couple goodies !

Sanctuary , very easy to hit max block on , even better res then spirit

Gerke's , pdr, res , good block , A fav of many builds here on HC , es with a little pdr takes a whole lot of hurt off you.

im planning to buy another stormshield.

Hel runes have other uses, Jewels of Freedom doesn't.
Jewels can have multiple mods, a Hel rune can't.

I agree - I have two stormshields socketed with rare jewels that provide resists and the -15% requirements mod. In this case, jewels are simply a better choice than a Hel, and shouldn't be significantly more difficult to acquire.
