Aura baba with frenzy?

Before I go ahead and waste the runes, can someone tell me if this would work well at all or should I just stick with the standard Arreat's / Enigma / etc setup?

Frenzy baba with the following setup:

- Dream helm
- Dragon armor
- Hand of justice phase blade on left hand
- Last wish phase on right hand

So that would be level 30 holy fire, level 15 holy shock. I just thought it would be fun with so many auras, but is it worth it at all?

i would recomend either full dragon + hoj or full dream and then supplement with the one you dont go "all in" with...remember that the power lies in their stackability!

Not really. A dual dream setup will do 835 average lightning damage on hit. For comparison, a gimmershred does 900 average elemental damage and has the advantage it is rainbow and has a smaller damage range.

The true power in dual dreams lies in a pala synergizing it or a sorc pumping it with LM. A barb only gets some elemental damage from it. Sure it's viable, but it isn't a particularly clever build and IMO not worth the runes.

Straight up, barbs should maximise physical damage, because all his synergies multiply physical damage. if you reduce your physical damage for elemental, you ultimately do less damage, by a massive amount.

Do what I'm doing. Dual last wish phases and shoot for lvl24 frenzy and 35+ IAS. If you have lvl20 sword and 2 last wish 65% crushing blows, that is 86% crushing blow 5 times a second. Also you'll cast life tap much quicker and do not need Dracula's grasp. You forgot last wish gives might aura.

...and the amount of damage lwpb do, is so low its rediculous.

beast + last wish or doom is the best u can get on weps. (two useful auras at least)

and for armor, bramble. (if u really want so many auras on u)

dream or dragon on barb is retarded.

I would try dual HOJ's + Dragon and just skip dream. This way you can still use arreats and maximize your damage. The one reason dream/dragon works on a pally is that you can max it's synergies so you can have a 10k zeal. Barbs have no such synergy so you'd really have low dual damage.
