IM help :(

so what can you possibly do against IM?
I have a zealer pally who uses grief and fana .. i am attacking someone with zeal and in the middle of the attack i get IMed .. and i die before the attack is done .. what am i supposed to do in such cases? If i see IM is on me then i can go heal/take a shrine .. but if IM is cast in the middle of an attack what am i supposed to do? :( .. i am lucky to be softcore .. i cant even imagine what a tough time hardcore players will have against IM
(oh btw .. IM = iron maiden :D)

There's nothing you can do except try to prevent it from happening. If you're hit with iron maiden in the middle of a zeal (especially with Grief) then you're going to die.

When running through chaos, you might want to use single attacks, rather than sequence attacks, at least until you've taken out the oblivion knights.

Chaos sanctuary is a pain for any physical melee character.

What i usually do with my paladin is sgo straight for the mages.
Instead of using zeal i use smite on the mages to stop them from casting any iron maiden on me. Once the mage is dead then u can carry on zealing the other minions.

You could try charging the mages before they cast a "Curse that will make you wanna kill your self"

The problem is that there might be an OK who curses you while being off-screen and from a certain point on you might lose more XP from these accidental deaths than you gain.

IMO the best solution is not to enter the WSK at all with a melee character. Better concentrate on what each of your character is good at. When I'm questing through the game with a melee character, I clear the CS and summon Diablo with high-level casters or missile characters.

What´s exactly what I do when soloing.

From V .10 LoD is not a game to really play solo. OK -there´s some builds which still can *preatty* fast do *almost* everything but - zealot is not one of them. Lanceors guide is an heroic try to make zealots to universal fighters but, as it is for SC... a sorc or ama is just *more universal* :wink3:
