hardcore zerk barb need gear help

i am in no way rich so all my stuff is most likely gonna be self made or found
helm - areats 15 ias jewel no clue what mod or maybe a sol rune
armor - jewelers gothic plate of amicae socketed with 4 sols or 4 prubies not sure
shield currently will be gerkes santuary should i get ss or stick with gerkes most likey i will socket p diamond
belt - crafted blood belt with 70+ life maybe fhr but str mods and resist
jewlery not really sure 11 resist ring and raven frost maybe angelic ammy and a ring
gloves- blood fist will up any better options?
boots - aldurs can change
inventory- what ever i find
switch 2x 3 warcry sticks

weapon whatever i find till i can make oath maybe?

steeldriver, upgraded when nessecary is gg. oath sounds good. forget what wep types oath is made in. tmaul steeldriver is viable

try to get nightsmoke belt and up it once. the damage to mana is awesome.
whinstans shield, for block speed, unless you really need to stack res/dr go with Gerkes. Blood Fist is very viable even endgame, but LoH is easy to find and also good. Try treachery armor for all it's nice mods, unless you already have that jewelers of amicae (4 sols). defintely get goreriders for more deadly strike unless you badly need the resist (res charms?). Arreats is good but you could even use a rockstopper.

Oath is a good weapon, but there are good cheap ones too. Try Doombringer or Razor's Edge. Even 'Honor' runeword is verygood for berserk. Butcher's Pupil and is also very strong for low lvls.

id try to craft some safety boots with DR and resists.
aldurs still isnt that bad though.

and yeah oath is a godly weapon but doombringer will still bring the pain (or, rather, the doom?) and its only like, what, 15 pgems?

i do own the jewlers armor
and yea doom bringer sounds nice it would take me awhile to get the runes for an oath but i think i can eventually get one doubt i can get botd death doom or anything like that without failing school xD
i do have a steel driver but i like to play with a shield maybe i should use the steel driver to help me level up in nightmare till i can use or find higher end items
