Armors and Sheilds

quick question.
-what type of sheild is best to imbue for a pally to get +2 pally skills ???(example: spike,grim,round,etc.)

-also mage plates best to imbue for hdin armors?

I wouldn't imbue Armors or Shields. Weapons only.

Just fyi having block on a +2 pally shield doesn't add much to the trade value because of holy shield. Look for mods like faster hit recovery, resists and strength.

Holy shield makes fbr entirely redundant and ictb redundant on any shield with more block than a 15/10 buckler.

A grim would be the best shield to imbue in terms of your chance of getting something worthwhile. But I agree with Firemarshal.
