Hi all!

Finally I decided to subscribe to these forums! I've been a long time lurker actually... But well, better later then never, eh! :azn:

So, I know it's customary to tell a little something about yourself in your introduction post. My name is Sam, I'm 20 years old, and I live in Belgium. For those of you who know something about Belgium: I live in Brugge, and I study in Ghent.

I've started playing D2 quite a long time ago. Back in the days of classic I believe. But I really started playing this game seriously when I got my hands on LoD (I started in v1.09). First in SP, then I moved to Battle.net  , but a couple of months later I was tired of al the hackers and such... So that's when I took my first break from D2. I came back about a year and a half ago, but that was on Battle.net again. I guess I hadn't learned my lesson... I quit it for good 2 months later. And couple of months later I started playing SP  . This game is just too addictive...

And ATMA rocks! And this place is cool too! So, I would like to be a part of it :cloud9:

Thank you all!

@ SNLR: Welcome too, seems like this is a double intro thread

@ smilts: I have lurked for quite a bit, but I know there are a lot of wise people around here!

@ Dragonlover: Darn, if forgot to wear the shin protecters... At least I've hidden my wallet, you won't be stealing that :wink3:

@ Heskla: You'll see me around! I'm planning to remake my bowazon. And I'd like some input from you guys. So I'll be posting a thread about that later.

Btw, I forgot to mention that I'm RRM/RWM. Not that matters a lot, because I play self found.

Have a nice day!

Welcome, what about favourite character and goals in the game. Have fun and see you around.

My favourite character would be an amazon. Although I've got a soft spot for barbarians and sorceresses as well.

Have any of you played Soul Reaver? Well, I tried to think of some builds based on characters in that game. My conclusion was that is it rather hard to find the most fitting build for certain characters... Especially since I would like to make some amazons and sorceresses in the future, and there aren't much women in Soul Reaver  So I decided just to make my favourite builds, and give them the names of Soul Reaver characters. My first one will be Ariel (my upcoming amazon). I would also like to make a lightning sorc and a whirlwind barbarian after my bowazon.

So my primary goal will be making those characters. I'm not so much a grail collecter. Unlike you probably Tigereye :wink3: with your impressive percentage in the perfect grail tables. I think I only come up to 55% or so.

An ofcourse there is nothing wrong with dreaming a little... So I would *really* like to find a jah rune to make a faith runeword! But well, that's not quite likely to happen...

@ BoysLikeGirls: Nice! Whats is she going to be like? I'll post some info about mine soon!

@ AJK: Yeah... those dutch people really are crazy.

Where is Belgium anyways?

You don't know where Belgium is

Hehe, well it's not as big as Canada, that's for sure. You'll find it above France!

And just above Belgium you will find The Netherlands, where AJK is from :wink3:

Welcome to the SPF

I've heard that the nightlife in Ghent is definitely worth paying for a weekend in a hotel. Still trying to round up some friends for a visit.

Thank you all for welcoming me!

@ muzzz: Yeah, it's worth it. Of course, if you go, go when students have school, nightlife is pretty much dead during the summer holiday.

Have a good one!

I don't really play d2 these days. Most of my time goes into music. I'm a guitarist..

Ah nice! Well most of my time goes into studying these days... But I can play D2 for a couple of hours each day.

It's a while ago since I last played my guitar, I should do that more often! Do you play acoustic or electric guitar?

Ah, well I play acoustic guitar. But after getting my degree, I haven't played that much... Which is a shame really. I'll get back into it sooner of later I guess.

I've always wanted to try electric as well! I hope it isn't too much of an adjustment...

Have a good one! And enjoy that new guitar!

Well for electric, if you like heavy metal i suggest you get a distortion petal along when you get your guitar.
