where or how i can find Immortal King's armors and Immortal King's Stone Crusher? :)

I had a stonecrusher given in a "freecrap" game, which means you could trade one for a some Pgems.
For the armor, don't hope to drop it... trade it. Hoping to drop such a rare item is a dream. It does drop, but you should'nt expect it to finish your build. Just put your savings on the table and trade it is my advice.

In short, it's pretty darned rare. You probably have to trade for it. I got mine for Um+Lem 2 days ago, but I consider myself lucky. Most people offer it for (at least?) a Mal rune (EuScL for reference).

I found it twice before. Each time was from ordinary boss packs. One in the Ancient's Way. One in The Pit.

Damn rare :). How you guys make Um or Lem runes? Combinating 3 runes to 1 with herodric cube (if im right about cube's name^^)?

i found my ik armor in the pit off a lone devil kin.

IK maul can be found almost anywhere in hell difficulty I think.

it seems pretty cheap on useast scl. I was trying to trade mine for ist but got no offers.
It really puzzles me why too. the full set just looks incredible. ah well. I'll just make an IK barb i geuss.

most IK barbs have a lot of trouble in hell, and since the 1.10 update, theres a lot better runewords that overshadow IK.

You'll do great on norm and nm though :thumbsup:

lol, Hell is a walk in the park for my IK barb, he doesnt even wear an amulet and my only charm is a gheeds and a few mid-life sc's.

I found the armor from one of shenk's minions, it was quite a lucky drop.

with all anya quests and full IK you dont need ANY additional resistances from anywhere, 40% cb for bosses, 3-5k dmg, easy +3.5k life, +12k defence,1pt berserk will get you enough dmg for PI's, maxed ww and synergies from shout and BO will get your respective skills berserk and concentrate to an acceptable dmg.

and assuming you play legit/SP full Ik is indeed King of all barb setups (melee ones) since its more easy to find the armor and the entire set than to find but 1 of all the Hr's required to make the 'gosu' runeword builds.
I myself have found the armor once and the rest multiple times that i threw them away.

full Ik is highly underrated.

IK mauls are commonly used for Iron Golems... they were a dime a dozen on Hardcore.

I agree with stek - IK barbs are great for SP and PvM - even on hell difficulty. If you want to go PvP ... well ... don't.

Majority of people need that extra kick that the runewords can give over IK.

I can't see why, I'm using IK to run Nihlathak and it doesn't give up a lot to even high end runewords. It is one of the few really good set out there.

All the class sets are powerful if you know how to use them right. Even Aldur's can be very awesome with the right build.

i wish the sazabis set was better too. i thought it was really cool when it came out but overall you can craft or find better stuff than that set.

If I may be so free can I ask you what jewelry you are using (I assume 1 Nature's peace at least)?

Sols in the helm and armor I presume?

id like to know the drop stat for lets say 450 mf, baal quest drop, 4 players. id actualy do baal quest drop glitching if i knew it had some decent chances for TC 84 and 87 items.

its drop calculator will give exact odds for any monster under any conditions that you specify.

make sure its the latest version.


and baal quest glitching can be highly profitable.

I use IK set, helm and armor sol'd for 21 pdr, a Nature's Peace ring with 7 PDR and I just made a deal for a 23 pdr ammy. I drink one poison antidote at teh start of the run, run or whirl to the stairs, howl my way to nithy and then whirl him if he is alone, or use conc if it is too crowded and I am having trouble clearing him. I've been doing single player games for now (levels 78-80) but I will start doing multiplayer games when i get up around levels 85 or 90.I can't wait to get some wc charms and a torch cause my howl is kind of lame now and it is annoying. I'm using the blessed aim merc with reapers, I may play with might after my level climbs a little more.

edit oops, gonna use pdr ammy now, was using one with LL and big mana boost, other ring is a rare with ar and some bogus mods. I will probably look for something dual leach in the long run.

with a lifetap wand you could get quite far, however I think he would have trouble with AR, ubers are lvl 110 you see.
metalgrid, ravenfrost, dual leech/ar/life/... rare ring, some life/dmg/ar charms could help, socket helm & armor with damage jewels, phys dmg of IK as it is is too low for taking the last part of ubers, also lacking OW (psn charms?)

Since you are not going to WW the ubers, you simply could put Ums in the maul instead of Shaels.

Angelics will give plenty AR.

Create an Iron Golem out of a Malice runeword with Metalgrid? Don't know if it'll live long enough to be effective...

it will die too fast and each time you leave the game it will be destroyed (as you leave & enter all items get 'taken off and reworn' so the skill iron golem will dissapear at some point from your skills and thus so will the iron golem.

Am I right in assuming that IK barbs are primarily WW barbs?

You could make a berzeker or conc barb out of one as well, but most seem to prefer WW yes.

I'm curious about remaking my barbarian again., level 68 WW'er mastery in Swords... but I wanted to make use of the IK set, and possibly run him for MF'ing. I just never liked WW that much.
