My Uber Zealot is ready....the key are on their way...

I am preparing the mini Uber now, as i hard they are the most difficult to get... And i plan to first clean the area with an other char then clean the mini with my Uber Zealot (and is fantastic smite).

So i am building a Hammerdin as i was adviced....
Now this hammerdin wont be for mf for the moment...i have other build for that...
I just plan to use him to do the cleaning work...that is killing the minions around lilith, Izzy and duriel...maybe do some chaos run but not more.. so i dont plan to get him enigma or high-end item...
What gear should i get for him?

Helm:?? ...Shako is too expensive for the moment
Amu: +1 Pala + mode amu i guess
Armor: Vipermage i think 30fcr + some resi
Weapon: Wizarspike or spirit sword... I think i prefer wizzy for the resi and the fcr
Shiled: Spirit pala shield with good bas resi
Belt: No idea...i am sure won't be arach :D
Ring1: Maybe a raven for the dext and the cannot be frozen part
Ring2: fcr+ resi ring i think..
Boots: Silk, Treks? Any advice?

Some res charm i will find while i build him...

So all advice are welcome.... and please don't advice me enigma, coh, hoto; soj, bk, etc... As i said this is a cheap build... I can use one or two Um to built it if necessary but i wont go over that...

Beside I have an other question....What merc should i get him? (For the moment merc gear would be: Tal mask, Duriel Armor, Reaper toll or insight if act 2 merc)

Thx in advance for allllllll your futur advices ^^

I'd say, try to get 125% FCR with your gear. This can be done quite cheaply.

Wizardspike, like you mentioned, with 50% FCR.
Spirit shield: at least 25% FCR.
Skin of the Vipermagi: 30% FCR.
Magefist: 20% FCR

For the rest of your gear I'd use the following:

Peasant Crown is a nice, cheap helmet. It has no FCR though.
Amulet: Preferably with +2 to Paladin skills with any other mods. Resists would be nice
Ring 1: Ravenfrost is good, otherwise a rare ring if you don't want/need the CBF.
Ring 2: Rare ring, resists would be nice.

Belt: I'd say go for a Nightsmoke. Upgrade it once or twice to get more slots for potions, if your wealth allows it.
Boots: Waterwalks are always nice. Sandstorm Treks are a good choice as well.

I think you'll have some resist problems with this setup, though, so make up with charms or do some tweaking...

For your merc, I think his gear is good the way it is now, considering you're on a budget. I'd go for an Insight weapon.

2x spirit, (50 - 70%)
vmagi (30%)
peasant crown (or lore, or some +1 helm)
+2 ammy
trang gloves (20%)
RINGS: 2x 10% FCR rings (ravenfrost isn't really needed since you will have holy shield to help block, and being frozen doesn't effect casting speed)
resists on belt?
resists on boots?

you will easily hit 125% fcr and should have +8 skills. more if you can get anni (not too hard) and torch (pally torches can be expensive. Resists shouldn't be too bad if you make your spirit shield in a decent (40 res+) paladin shield. and if you don't have the ****tiest vmagi ever and grab a few resist charms along the way to fill in the holes.

edit: with wizard spike instead of spirit weapon, you will NOT have any resist problems at all. you lose a little damage though. not sure how important the extra +2 skills is, as i have never made a hammerdin.

edit2: trang gloves are preferred over magefist for non-sorc because they have 30% cold resist as well.
