new to LLDing, and had a few questions

1: is level 12 a common level?

2: max damage jewels and ED% jewels, I remember hearing somewhere that there was a glitch in these and what you socket them in. Is this true, and what is a waste to put them in? I'm planning on socketing weapon+Helm+Armor+Shield.

3: Are summons frowned upon? are mercs frowned upon?

1. not really. there are builds that are able to duel at lvl 9 and then there are a few such as a wolf druid that really dont have access to a skill until lvl 12. if you want to be a "true" very low level dueler (vlld) then you must not use angelics against lvl 9's, they are horribly over matching anything a lvl 9 can scrounge up.

2. you can put ed%, +max, and +min in any item you want. it's when you mix them in any item other than a weapon where the bug occurs.
+max/+min = fine in anything
%ed/max = only in weapons
%ed/min = only in weapons

note: even if you have two separate jewels the bug will occur (ie. a max jewel and a %ed jewel in a helm)

3. depends on the build if you're straight melee vs melee then say wolfs are frowned upon, but a spirit like how and oak are okay. mercs are always "frowned upon"

I'm gonna make a melee necro, and hell be on west-ladder, if you play there id love to hit you. hopping to be trying him out by sunday, but doubt ill have any of the jewel i want for a while.
