Hope this day finds each of you well. :flowers:
So here's the deal and what I've been agonising over for the last week. As the topic shows, I have 20 skill points remaining on my level 80 conviction zealot (voice of reason) and I dont know where to put em. I can think of several places they'd work on. I currently kill pretty well in hell , the combo of large elemental damages with a quick attack and 75% crushing blow works wonders.
Currently have
20 points in Holy shield
20 points in Conviction
res of my points is in 1 point wonders and pre reqs
Ive got 3 points in Zeal
Fanatisim 3 points
using
Guillems Face
Duress Dusk Shroud
Goblin toes (dont bother mentioning goreriders, they arent as good here )
Drac gloves
1 ravenfrost
1 Dwarfstar
Highlords (looking for a cateye , ds not doing anything for smite or my lowPHY
belt: Nos coil/ Tgods (
Primary wep switch : elemental
Voice of reason Pb , Tiamat's Shield
Switch Physical
Up'd Hoz , Oath Small crecent
the stuff:
hits the 48% fhr bp ,
has maxed all res on both switches (mostly charms)
2500 life with bo
75 block (duh?)
5fpa zeal
6fpa smite
95% ish chance to hit all monsters
20-25K Defense
75% crushing blow
58% chance of Open wounds
(goes off all the time :thumbsup: )
on orb ctc w/ conviction 340-360 damage per shard
on Ice Blast at level 20 w/conviction 546-574
Great crown control , everything is always frozen,slowed or both
Merc
Harmony using Fire Act1 merc
free vigor, another form of damage (fire) good survivabilty
for those skill points:
Max light res and hope for 2Xdreams someday ....
Max defiance (do I really need more def? things only have 10-15% chance to hit now)
Max Sacrifice (up my zeal damage which will always be low using a pb)
Max fantat. for more smite damage and to hit the fastest ias on it) ( will eventualy replace oath with grief)
Any other options and why?
I will be attempting Ubers on this pally soon.
So that's where I stand, I'm leaning towards fant for smite
I have a great elemental crowd attack with vor
and smite would be mint on bosses and cold immunes (very few of these with conviction)
This is of course hardcore and pvm only.
