I have been using the speed calculator to find the breakpoint for my frenzy with lvl 31. I use botd (60 ias) in a cb as main weapon and death in a cs. I hit 5,5 fpa with currently 20 ias with my higlord amu, but the calculator say I need 69% ias to reach 5 fpa. Can this be right, cuz it sounds like alot? would any further ias not help if the total not reach 69 % ? Am I making any sence hehe  ?

is there any possibility you are not using the calculator correctly?

Well it's possible but I can see he is not hitting so fast with cb and cs, as with phase.
I've used this calculator: http://diablo2.ingame.de/tips/calcs/weaponspeed.php?lang=english

I've used this calculator: http://diablo2.ingame.de/tips/calcs/weaponspeed.php?lang=englishoh i c, pb has base of -30 ias while cb has 5 and cs 0 i think.
-30 ias on pb is equivalent to 30 ias added after the runeword , so effectively youd have 90 ias with botd pb, compared to 55 ias with botd cb.
Yeah but only a complete ****** would make botd in a pb, so why are you even mentioning it to him.
Psyko, Yes 69% is correct with botdcb and deathcs, at lvl31 frenzy.
Since your already wearing hilords (20%ias) you still need a further 49%ias from other items.
If you made death in a colossal blade, then youll need just 60%ias.
Since either combo is difficult to hit the last 5fpa break point (without radically changing your armor/belt/glove items to hit 69%/60%) its by far superior to change out that botdcb for a griefpb.
Im sure you'll understand that even with the lowest roll for damage and ias on a griefpb you will easily hit the 5fpa breakpoint.
All you need is Hilords ammy, LoH gloves, and a xx/15ias in your arreats and you will deal massive damage and ridiculous damage to demons.
Good luck have fun.

Wouldnt an A1 Faith merc really help out his problem? or at least provide him with 34 (i think?) more ias and then making up the rest shouldnt be too much more trouble would it?

okay, ty for the answer. Okay, I think I pair my ebotdcb with my lawbringerpb and then save up for grief to use with my edeathcs as u suggested. Whenever I party with a pala using fanat. i could then use the death-botd combo.
