question about my zon (has to do with block)

My zon's lvl 49, with only 63 dex, and gets 75% block with a 57% block shield and twiththroe... Is this.. normal??

I haven't played d2 for a while so I don't remember how block works... but something seems wrong with that to me.

in Classic d2, Dex plays NO part in block, you get the combined blocking of your items.

Oh, haha... Then I have a bunch of dex items for nothing =/ Maybe I should make a character that benefits from dex <_>

Is there an online source for information like this? Something like The Arreat Summit (http://www.battle.net/diablo2/), only without all the LOD information.
