tamoe highland, i usually use the black marsh waypoint. however others use the outer cloister.

The pits can drop amazing items such as CoA's, Griffons, Tyreals. From my experiences I haven't found a large volume of stuff in pits but when I do find something its almost always something really good.

I run ancient tunnels with a blizz soso, are there many difficult cold immunes in the pits? (if any except uniques)

the cold immunes are those corrupted rogues, and they tend to be really fast. its pretty hard to target them with blizzard at that speed, and the hallways are pretty narrow. most of the time i bring my summon necro to the pits instead of my meteorb.

contrary to popular belief, i have yet to find anything good or even decent in the pits. :(

I found a nightwings in that place before the Pit (off the black marsh) I think it's caled the Hole.

The only Fire immunes in The Pits are the Carver-like ones (I always mix up their names), but they appear in large numbers and have Shamans to ressurect them. You can rely on merc to kill them efficiently. Stick to Ancient Tunnels or Mausouleum if your main attack is Cold.

Currently, I spend most of my time on ladder straving through the pits with my zon.

Its also pretty fun, and I've found a shako and some other decent things (I traded the shako 4 a brand new gfg windforce) ^_^.

I have a Strafezon, now on non-ladder with a Faith Matriarchal and you simply can't compete with her speed. But Meteorb is a second place IMO.
