Skrat the Frost Zealot

Ah, it's good to be back in Classic.

Anyways, I am in the the works of a Frost Zealot. He is level 23 right now in act 3.

I need some help on what equipment to get him. He is single player, so i wont be able to trade, but i just need some ideas. This is his current setup.

-Beserkers Helm and Axe for +AR
-Clegs Shield and Chain Gloves for more +AR
-2 Nages for +MF and +AR
- +2 life plate mail (it's the best i've found from Hratli, and im certinally not wearing Isenharts case.)
- Hrasus' Belt (no particular reason)
- Cathans Sigil for +FHR
-A crappy pair of rare chain boots.

I also have Bloodfist and Crushflange which i use against bosses. I know, it's a horrible setup, but with you guy's help, I can turn him from trash to a pretty purple flower.

get hsarus boots to match the belt for more ar, get gleglaws weapon for more dmg!

Update

He is now lvl 48 in act 1 hell. I found quite a bit of crappy stuff, but i did find a 37 res all ward and a bonesnap maul.

I liked a lot holy freeze because it has many advantages:
1-slows enemies a lot (useful if you're swarmed)
2-adds nice elemental damage (holy fire is weak, holy shock is too random)
3-lights all mosters in range
4-breaks them into pieces so they cannot be respawned

But the bad things are:
1-aura works every 2-3 seconds
2-aura only damage is quite useless
3-chill time is very low in hell
4-there are both cold and physical immunes in hell


So I decided to have holy freeze to only 8 and flash it with fanaticism. For cold and PI immunes I use BH. How do you kill those instead?

Vengeance for those cold and pi. your BH will be to weak

Ugh..how much damage should I deal with BH? I've planned:
blessed hammer 15
vigor 12
concentration 3
blessed aim 1

And I also have an amulet with +1 skills and a sceptre with +3 BH, +2 conc


Vengeange is too slow, has low AR and requires too much mana for me.. :(
At first I wanted holy freeze + shock auras, but cold is not powerful enough alone, expecially against physical + lightning immunes bosses with high regeneration..
