[New to Classic] A few questions.

I recently started a classic rusher, because I got sick of grushing on LoD. I kinda like classic without all the runewords and stuff, it's a bit more of a challenge :smiley:. So I'll probably play classic from time to time (Still like LoD pvp better :tongue:) Anyway, which unique's/sets are worth keeping (kept everything that didn't seem completly useless for now)? And are there any things that are worth converting to LoD, like rares with mods that can't spawn on LoD, or things that increase in value when converted? This is on EuScNL.

I always found that a gnasher/felloak and a full hsarus + clegclaws + deaths set were usefull in building up a low level character as well as sigons.

There are some usefull low level golds for building chars too - serpent lord staff, gnasher, felloak, ravenclawbow, torch of iro, things like that.

Only thing worth converting are gems. which are worth their selling value in classic and a wee bit more in LoD I believe.

Rares are the king in classic, almost allways preferred over uniques(with a few exceptions).
Max EDef on rare(and magical aswel) armor items(gloves,belts,boots,body armor,helm,shield) is 100%
Max EDam on rare weapons is 200%(it's actually 2 prefixes of 100%ed each, so it doesn't happen as often/easily as a cruel mod, which does not exist in classic)

Usually only exceptional items are kept for their ED. There are no elite items in classic.
Only normal sets and uniques exist in classic, no exceptional or elite.

Of course you don't get etherial but for things which dont need you can get something.

tri res frw/fhr boots may well be worth taking across. They may not gain value necessarily though I suspect they could due to more potential bidders. 15%ed mp's will actually fetch you a decent amount, I'd hang on to those and 15%ed bps as well.

I'd collect a set of irathra as well as the item's squiggle mentions, very good value gear for a large variety of builds (hdin and javazon for example) though the loss of a potential +2 on an amulet does hurt. ravenclaw and twitch are worth holding on to.

I wouldn't really consider cleglaw's a good leveling set at all. I don't think that much of sigons either, vs death's+angelic comboes etc, high def ll builds and budget mf ww builds aside.

sigs requires too much str to be useful for lvling, and clegs needs too much dex for the wep.

I'm assuming you mean like a 6 socket bow, or mart, or naga, or... and not a high value rare socketed with a diamond.
