there has to be one.
No, there really doesn't have to be. There aren't any "official" LLD guides here yet, aside from one that CDM threw together for a 30 hammerdin.

You've got the belt and gloves right. Basically, the "best" setup would be something like this:
*Artisan's [insert light armor name here] of the Squid(3os, up to 80 life) stuffed full of max damage jewels. This item is easily shopped in a5 hell at Anya. A lazy *snicker* person could use Spirit Shroud with a Maxer in it, and I suppose the mods would be useful.
*String of Ears. Not optional IMO.
*Bloodfists. Again, necessary IMO.
*Angelic combo ring/amulet.
*Second Angelic ring vs. paladins/barbs AND/OR rare AR/stats/resists ring.
*Sanders/Cow Kings for free stats alone OR Tearhaunch for some more Desynch + stats + resists
*Peasant Crown with max damage jewel OR 3os Crown with Maxers. I personally loved my 10% FHR Artisan's crown with maxers in it.
*Your 2-hander should be an Insight runeword Partizan. Eth gets style points + more damage at the cost of needing multiple weps when one breaks. You can also use a once-upped Bonesnap. This will provide more "regular" damage(remember Insight has up to 5 critical strike) + crushing blow, but you'll need to mana pot from time to time. Again, eth = style and damage.
*My favorite one-hander is a "Honor" runeword Divine Scepter with great statffmods. Look for + charge, +might, +anything useful.
*Your shield should probably be a once-upped Swordback. Open wounds are fun. Otherwise, an ED/AR paly shield stuffed with maxers for slammin' damage, or perhaps a Spirit paly shield for some resist stack, but lower damage.
I hope the gear info helps you a bit.

You should also consider a runestaff insight. At the cost of a fair amount of damage you get much lower stat requirements then a partizan. At the end of the day I'd personaly suggest a partizan but just so you know.

Dont forget trying out a 'Peace' RW'd Mage Plate. The crit is very nice to have, and the fhr and cold res (though small) are also useful. I use it atm on my budget lld charger and he does pretty well.

I wouldn't suggest peace at all. The crit strike from insight (assuming a decent roll) gives you the skill allready and it suffers from massively diminishing return. Peace only adds about another 10% chance and when compared with straight damage jewels thats just a bad investment.

to beat pubs you don't need much, I once entered a duel game were a charger ran around and oneshotted all the unprepared chars around his level. After beating him a few times he showed me his gear and apart of his bonesnap he might as good has been naked, seriously he used a crown with flawed rubies and that sort of crap...
If you however wants to beat real llds you'll have to do some more planning.

I prolly should have said if you were using the 1 h wep or Bsnap then? I know that with a Insight, Peace is hardly worthy of beating out a 3x 15+ max dmg life armor lol.
